Rosario, Batangas rocks! The web site is really cool. I would just like to note that the Macatangay clan of Ireneo 'Ka Niyong' and Barbara 'Ka Barang' Macatangay (aside from Basilia Macatangay), are also pioneer residents of the Barangay D community even as early as the 1930's, and could even be earlier than the families mentioned in the profile. The Mindanaos, Calderons, Moradas, Gutierrezes, Katigbaks and Contis are kapitbahays, as in kalapit bahay. Prominent cousins are the Macatangays and Cuarteros of Barangay B, the Magtibays of Barangay C, and the Zuños of Barangay D. The better known grandchildren are Noel and Joselito Castro, the former being the Principal of St. James High School in Ibaan and the latter, an employee of the Provincial Government of Batangas. Thank you and more power. Gilbert M. Castro |

[B]Paminsan minsan lang akong dumalaw dito sa RosarioBatangas.net at ang lagi kong hinahanap ay ang mga larawan nang ating bayang Rosario. I was just wondering if somebody can post a complete depiction of what our town is. All I can remember is what it used to be. I do not have any idea what it looks like now. None of the photos that has been posted gives me any idea of what the present town looks like. From the main street (Gualberto) to the side streets. The extended barangays..... Can anyone help me out. Thank you.
